Iyengar Yoga

Foundational to any yoga practice is a clear understanding of alignment and how proper form enhances practice. This class is an in-depth exploration of the balance between flexibility and strength while developing awareness of self through posture, breath, and movement with Iyengar-style alignment. This class rotates through 6 primary class themes: standing lateral poses, standing forward moving poses, forward bends, revolved poses, backward extensions and a general practice session.
