RYT-200, LEVEL 3 REIKI

I am a retired registered nurse and art educator. I began doing yoga around 15 years ago as a way to stay fit when arthritis crept in, making moving my joints difficult. My practice became more frequent about 10 years ago when I started attending in-person classes. I was pleased with how much better I felt physically, and also the way in which yoga improved my emotions and mental well being. The more I benefited from my own practice, the more I thought about digging deeper in my learning through yoga teacher training in order to pass that on to others.
Having learned some reiki techniques from a nursing instructor many years ago, that never left my mind. I extended my training to include certification as a level 3 Reiki master. I am so excited to be an instructor at Open Way Yoga, and have already felt at home there.
