We are here for your wellbeing! We can help you establish and maintain life-long mobility, as well support your physical and mental health, but your health is ultimately your responsibility. Yoga is generally gentle, but we do invert, twist the spine and contort our bodies into a variety of strengthening and stretching positions. Please check with your Dr. before beginning any exercise program including yoga.
If you are feeling unwell we ask that you stay home and wait to come back to the studio until you are sure contagious symptoms have passed.
2023 COVID Protocols:
COVID is surging again (still?). Here’s how we are going to handle it at Open Way:
We have space and ventilation and we are leaving it up to you. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, then wear a mask, we support you. If you’d prefer not to then don’t, no judgment. If you want to social distance in the studio, we have space for that, let us know and we can make it happen. If you aren’t comfortable being in the room with unmasked practitioners, we have live streams.
If Firelands or local hospitals let the community know they are short on space, equipment, staff or any other resource related to a COVID surge we will shut down our in-studio classes and transition to online only.
We’ve all spent 3 years now dealing with the realities of COVID and the information is out there to help us make informed decisions. We love you all so please stay safe!
