Pause for harmony and health as you yield to stillness and self compassion. Join Sharon Lichtcsien and Valerie Parker for a 2 hour sound immersion with Yin yoga. Relax in the healing vibrations of Sharon’s singing bowls, chimes and gentle gongs as Valerie guides a solstice focused yin practice. The solstice is the shortest day of the year, and a time for renewal and self reflection as the moon gives way to the rebirth of the sun.
Yin yoga allows mindfulness and meditation as you go inward. It is a practice of long held static stretches that target the deep tissues of the body, bones, joints, cartilage and ligaments. Yin is a quiet, simple practice that offers completeness, rebalancing, a return to center, and a sense of calm and wholeness. Join us for an afternoon of quiet energy on the longest day of darkness. It is a time to pause, reflect, and give gratitude as we experience the seasonal transition.
