April Halm E-RYT® 500, YACEP®

Yoga is the practice of quieting the mind, but in the breathwork, I find my magic

My yoga journey started from and injury training for one of my many marathon trainings. It was not something I wanted to do but knew but had read that it was good for recovery & preventing injury.  After many classes and styles, I found a fusion of yoga that calmed my mind & body.

I wanted to get certified in yoga but did not know how or where, I walked into open way for a chakra workshop with Shannon and knew right away our energies were aligned for the journey. I signed up immediately. Once I was certified through open way I wanted to learn as much as I could to create a blend of yoga that I just couldn’t find in my hometown. I completed an additional 300 hours of yoga training during covid and added in several specialized yoga trainings over the years in Restorative, Yin, Somatic, Chair yoga, Meditation and Yoga for Pain Management.

I teach a Somatic Yin Deep Stretch with a focus on the breath to tune into your connective tissue & find space in your body to let go of the tension & discomfort you carry every day.

When I'm not on the mat, you can find me traveling with my identical twin and our husbands, or back in my hometown of Fremont, OH, at Witchy Vibes — my cozy studio and healing suite. It's also where you'll find my twin, who runs her own small business there too.
