Private Sessions by Shannon

Shannon has 11 years of experience teaching yoga and somatic practices, integrating her 22 years of practice experience. After high school, she majored in the creative writing of poetry at The Ohio State University where she received her BA in English. She then went on to practice and study survival skills in a variety of wilderness and educational settings culminating in her experience on The Discovery Channel’s Naked & Afraid in 2014. After attending The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC in 2006 and 2007, she worked as a Holistic Health Coach, teaching people how to cultivate wellness from the inside out before transitioning to full time yoga teaching and program development at OWY in 2014. She masterfully weaves her unique life experience and extensive knowledge of different wellness paradigms into her understanding of what it takes to thrive and she can help you do the same.

Services by Michael

Michael has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and Technology Leadership from Ohio University.

But why is a yoga studio offering information technology services? We’d love to facilitate micro projects or visions, using Michael’s technology skills to build a bridge to sharing your wisdom or ideas for a better world. Sharing Michael’s skillset through the lens of yoga ethics to upgrade our community’s relationship with digital technology is a way to bring mental wellness and yoga philosophy off the mat and into everyday life.

He previously started an LLC in 2019 to service the College of Business at Ohio University, worked in North Carolina for the world’s largest networking technology company (Cisco Systems) upon college graduation, and now lives in his home-town hoping to grow body-mind alignment through yoga while saving money for further education in holistic healthcare.
